The July Edition: Lazy Girl Summer Dinners

A rustic outdoor table spread with various simple summer dishes and fresh lemons.

A NOTE FROM ALLIE

The dog days of summer are here, and with it comes that specific kind of heat that makes me want to spend as little time as possible near a hot stove. We are fully embracing 'Lazy Girl Summer' in our household right now...prioritizing flavor and freshness without the fuss. Between pool days and late evening walks, these recipes have been our lifesaver.

As much as I'm savoring these slow moments, I can already feel the back-to-school season looming. I've started the annual ritual of organizing lunchboxes and planning for the transition back to early mornings. It's a bittersweet shift, but one that always feels better with a solid plan in place.

NEW ON THE TABLE

Salsa Verde Chicken & Rice Shredded chicken, long-grain white rice, black beans, corn, diced green chilies, and salsa verde cook together in one pan

A fresh summer salad featuring grilled peaches and peppery arugula.

Creamy Lemon Chicken & Orzo creamy, cozy, bright from the lemon, and packed with tender chicken, spinach, and cheesy orzo all made in one dish.
